We're a new brand in the world of organic baby clothes and wanted to share some of the key elements we're really proud of with our organic baby clothes collections.
GOTS certified Organic Cotton
We LOVE organic baby clothes, but it's important to know that not all organic baby clothes are created equal. There are lots of different certifications out there and it can often seem confusing. Here at cocobabybox, we only work with manufacturers who are GOTS certified.
GOTS certification is recognised as the gold standard for the sustainable processing of organic clothing and textiles. With this certification, it is not only the cotton fibres that are certified organic but also the production chain too!
This means that:
- No harsh chemicals are used during the production process
- There are restrictions on waste water treatment and procedures to reduce water and energy consumption overall
- Key international labor laws are enforced including: Safe working conditions, No discrimination & No child labour
Every part of the supply chain process is independently certified to ensure all these elements protect the Farmers who grow the cotton and the manufacturers who produce the garments.
Product Features: Managing those octopus arms and legs
The art of dressing your sweet, squirming new little human is a skill most new and experienced parents find challenging. Managing the art of positioning little hands and feet into miniature clothing takes time.
A great feature of all our garments is our popper neck detail for easy on & off changing. The double popper side seam or back seam, allows you to easily and quickly pop garments over your tiny humans head seamlessly.
Our One Piece garments, also feature fixed cuffs which makes handling high kicks much easier. Allowing little toes to be quickly popped into the cuff, making popping our snap poppers much quicker.
All our trousers feature a relaxed hareem style and elastic waistband, creating a cool vibe. They also featured fixed cuffs which helps for quick and easy dressing.
Recycling Initiative
Your little one is not even 4 months old and has already outgrown 2 rounds of clothing sizes. Tiny clothes are expensive and on average a baby grows 8 clothes sizes before their 2nd birthday. This means that, on average, parents will buy almost 300 pieces of clothing over a couple of years. Clothes that are only used a few times before they become too small.
Our recycling initiative helps a little with this, by giving you the option to return your cocobabybox after up-to 60 days.
Whether you buy a one off box or a subscription package, once your little one has grown out of the clothes, we encourage you to send the clothes back to us and receive 15% cash back based on your original order value.
Or you can keep the products, we'll leave this one up-to you!
